Description

A lightweight RSS underdrive pulley machined from high-strength 6061-T6 aluminum for street and track applications.

RSS says reducing accessory drive losses at the steering pump, air-conditioning compressor, coolant pump and alternator improves power and torque without compromising their operation.

An installation wrench is supplied. RSS recommends a new crankshaft pulley bolt appropriate to the vehicle; the bolt is not included. The matching 6PK belt is available as a $55 option.

Fitment & Compatibility

Applicable Porsche 986, 987, 996 and 997 engines; the title specifies naturally aspirated 3.6-liter 997 fitment. Excludes 2.9-liter engines with the multi-hole crank-pulley pattern, 3.8-liter engines, DFI engines, GT2, GT3 and Turbo.

Installation

Use a new crankshaft pulley bolt specified for the vehicle and the correct belt length. Follow the manufacturer's installation instructions and all engine exclusions.
