Description

RSS Tarmac Stage 2 is a motorsport mono-ball suspension package for the 997 C2, C4, GTS and Turbo, developed through engineering, testing and competition use. RSS highlights its use by professional teams, tuners, track-day drivers and road enthusiasts.

RSS credits the Tarmac Series with the 2013 Rolex Grand-Am GX championship, supply to the 2014 Pirelli GT3 Cup Trophy USA, 2014 FIA Group GT rally victories and Spanish Tarmac Rallye championship, and the 2015 Pirelli World Challenge TC championship.

The illustrated package includes front toe/bump-steer links, front lower control arms, adjustable rear upper links, rear toe/bump-steer links with locking plates, and rear lower control arms. Optional upgrades are a 14-piece bearing dust-boot set (+$154) and two 362 Litronic sensor brackets (+$80).

The supplier's fitment guide specifies reduced-travel dampers. Use with incompatible long-travel base dampers can cause suspension binding at full extension/full droop. Installers must verify compatibility. Consult the included sensor-bracket guide for the vehicle's requirements.
