Description

Shark Werks exhaust for the 997 GT2 and GT2 RS uses mandrel-bent T304 stainless tubing with a 0.065-inch wall. Separate flow paths for each bank are intended to reduce restriction and backpressure, improve turbo response and produce a deeper exhaust note with little added highway cabin noise.

The system retains factory catalysts, tips, clamps and mounting points. RSS states a one-pound weight saving against the factory titanium muffler, California manufacture, DIY instructions and compatibility with factory emissions equipment. The supplier advertises 50-state compliance and no warning lights with the original catalysts; verify the exact application and local requirements before installation.
